"VIRTUAL 5K" means you can run it anywhere!  Run your own race at your own pace. You can use the treadmill, run outside, or arrange for a group of you to meet up and run together. 

 

Registration Options

 

     Single Entry: $45  registration includes virtual 5K entry, medal, and race bib.  *Reduced to $30 for early registration

 

     Team Entry:  $125 for a Team of 3 Runners. *Reduced to $80 for early registration.

 

What next...

     1.    Register for this event by clicking on the "Register Now" button below. 

     2.    T-Shirt and Race BIB will be mailed to you!

     3.    You have from November 28 through December 31, 2014 to run/walk the 5K.  This is based on the "honor system." 

     4.    Medals will be mailed at the end of December to all registrants who have completed the event specifications.

 

Event Specifications

 

     a.             Take a selfie (or have someone take a photo of you and/or your team while wearing your race bib and event t-shirt on.

     b.            Take a picture of your completed 5k stats, this includes but is not limited to your mobile phone running/walking app,  the treadmill screen, your pedometer.

     c.              Post these pictures on the Running with CARE Virtual 5K Facebook page.  If you do not have FB, email your pictures to RunningwithCARE5K@gmail.com

 

Proceeds from Running with C.A.R.E. Virtual 5K 2014will benefit a variety of programs for disadvantaged youth including social & emotional learning and career educational programs to ensure they have access to a better life, offered by C.A.R.E. Foundation.
